Day to day cleaning

Mix mild dish soap and warm water in a bucket.Use a clean cloth to wipe the soapy mixture onto the surfaces of your furniture, cleaning off any dirt.

For a little extra cleaning, or more stubborn stains

For extra cleaning power or to sanitize, we like to use a household multi-surface cleaner such as Spray Nine and a water mixApply mixture to furniture with a clean cloth or spray bottle and allow it to sit on the lumber for a few minutes (this will not affect the color)Loosen any dirt and debris that may catch in the surface grooves of the lumber by scrubbing the mixture with a soft-bristle brush. Rinse thoroughly.

Under no circumstances should sharp edged cleaning tools be used (Sandpaper, SOS pads, and wire brushes) will scratch the surface and void all warranties. If you are unsure on an applicable tool to use, please contact us first

Seasonal Storage

Under normal circumstances seasonal storage is Not required! Our durable HDPE can be left out year-round. Designed to weather in all four Canadian seasons, there is no need to store or cover your furniture in the winter. Our only recommendation would be to clear off any heavy amounts of snow from time to time, but otherwise you can enjoy your furniture year round!

Fabric Care

Affinity cushions are made from high quality Sunbrella™ fabrics

In most case our cushion covers can be removed from the cushion
for a more thorough cleaning. If you are unsure, please contact us to help
guide your experience.

One of the best ways to keep Sunbrella
fabrics looking good is to brush off dirt and debris before it becomes embedded
in the fabrics and to address messes and clean spills soon after they occur.
The quicker you clean spills, the easier they can be to remove.

Try This
First...  With
a New Spill on Your Sunbrella Fabric:

Hand Washing

Soak fabric in a solution of 1/4 cup mild
soap per gallon of lukewarm water. Use a sponge or very soft bristle brush to
lightly agitate the stain. Then rinse thoroughly to remove all soap
residue and allow fabric to air dry.

Machine Washing

To wash, first close all zippers. Machine wash in
cold water on the delicate cycle with normal amounts of mild laundry detergent.
For severe mold or mildew, add 1 cup of bleach. Allow fabric to air dry.

Oil Based Stains

If a stubborn oil based stain persists after
cleaning, use Sunbrella Extract™
Oil Based Stain Remover
or treat with a strong degreaser
and rinse thoroughly.

Mold and Mildew

Sunbrella fabrics do not promote mildew
growth, however, mildew may grow on dirt and other foreign substances if not
removed from the fabric. To remove mold or mildew:

For severe mold/mildew growth, bleach quantities may
be increased.

We recommend using our Sunbrella
Clean Multi-Purpose Fabric Cleaner
 followed
by a diluted bleach solution.
